This type of edit is all about enhancing/clarifying meaning and syntax while maintaining the author’s voice and style. Issues with grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation will also be covered.

Focuses on finding last-minute issues with grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and formatting inconsistencies

Focuses on flow, readability, and hook factor along with pointing out any last minute errors and/or inconsistencies

• 1 round of copy/line edits 
• 1 round for a final proofread 
• $75 alone or $60 added on to any editing service per blurb

All new clients start off with a free sample edit to ensure Simply Write is a good fit. Sample edits are up to 2k words and are returned to the client within 3-5 business days, typically sooner. 

Quotes are given after clients review sample feedback. If the client wishes to move forward, they’ll be asked to sign a contract as well as pay a $50 nonrefundable booking deposit. (Your booking is not locked in until both are complete.) 

Editing bundles that include developmental edits, copy/line edits, and proofreading are available upon request. Please contact us for more information.

Discounts are available to returning customers and debut/baby authors! (Baby authors are those who have published three books or less.)

• This service is billed at an hourly rate of $32/hr

Focuses on graphic content creation to assist you in filling in your content calendar for social media

• This is a collaborative effort + will require reliable communication between us and the author/client
• Graphics are created in Canva and shared with you via Google Drive
• Includes one round of edits 
• $18/graphic (discount applied in packages!)
